2008 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa Diary
 
 
We picked the 2008 GSX1300R Hayabusa for our test bike to develop different combinations for our customers.  The Hayabusa is almost the most popular bike to do modifications and customize.  Stay Tuned for more updates.... Soon to Come....Baseline Dyno numbers completely stock and time slips.
 
HERE IS THE BASELINE (BLUE) AND AFTER AIRBOX (RED).  LOOK AT THE AIR/FUEL CURVE...AFTER ADDING THE P&P AIRBOX THE BIKE NEEDS SOME FUEL.  BUT IT STILL PICKED UP +8.5 MAX HP WITH NO FUELING CHANGES
 
 
Update:
March 20, 2011- We took the 08 Hayabusa to get a baseline timeslip for a completely bone stock bike.  The Hayabusa has no modifications....After the third pass the best time 1/8 mile was (E.T. 6.83 at 112 MPH). Rider was 247 suited.
Bike stats: Stock gearing, stock height, no front end strap, stock airbox (stock stacks and stock air filter) and complete stock exhaust.  The bike was ran just as you see it in the photo above. 
 
May 15, 2011- We took the Busa back to dragstrip with the only modification was lowering the bike (front and rear).  Second pass (E.T 6.79 at 113.63 MPH).
